Your first class is on us.
Register and find a class that’s right for you. Your first one is free. While you’re here, take a tour and check out all our amenities. See for yourself what 1801 is all about.
First timers
It’s only intimidating until you do it. Here’s a guide to everything you need so you feel right at home from the start.
-
We’re here to support you, encourage you, cheer for you and teach you new things. This is home to us and we want you to feel the same way. If you need anything, ever, just ask. Our goal is to make this the best experience you’ve ever had from day one.
-
If this is your first time in the gym, plan to arrive 15 minutes before your class to check in, take care of any housekeeping paperwork and say hi to your coach. This is a great opportunity to ask any questions and get a lay of the land.
-
You’ll want to be in activewear that you feel comfortable moving around and stretching in. Wear gym shoes for HIIT/bootcamp, personal training and boxing classes - go barefoot for yoga and BJJ. For BJJ, there are Gi and non-Gi days so please check the schedule (reach out if it’s confusing). If you’re boxing, bring gloves and wraps, though we also have some available for purchase. For recovery services, bring a swimsuit. You’ll want to have a refillable water bottle as we have water stations around the gym. Mats and towels are provided complimentary.
-
Gym 1801 has lockers with locks, so no need to bring your own. We also have showers with complimentary grooming amenities, towels and hair dryers.
