Annie Bayliss

Yoga & Strength Instructor, Director of Membership Engagement & Business Development

Born and raised in Chicago, Annie began practicing yoga in 2004 while living in Los Angeles, using it as a grounding tool during a time of major life transition. She traveled to Costa Rica in 2008 to complete her 200-hour vinyasa training, which sparked a lifelong dedication to the practice. Over time, she recognized the powerful mental and physical benefits of strength training and how it complemented her yoga practice. In 2018, she began teaching Yoga Sculpt and has continued to expand her expertise through additional training, including a 20-hour strength coach certification, 20-hour yin yoga course, and a 300-hour yoga teacher training. Now an E-RYT 500 teacher, Annie’s mission as both an instructor and human is simple but powerful: “I encourage strength and self-love.” Her classes embody this mantra with energy, encouragement, and a supportive presence. When she’s not on the mat, Annie is either coaching or cheering on one of her three kids from the sidelines. And when the stars align, you can catch her dancing (shades down) at one of her husband’s rock concerts—Umph Love, IYKYK.
