Jiu Jitsu FAQs
Email the head of our BJJ program Jeff at Jeff@1801.life to schedule a trial, complimentary class.
If you have BJJ gear (gi, rash guard, shorts) wear the gear, otherwise, wear comfortable workout clothes with no zippers. Wearing jewelry is also not allowed.
At Serafin BJJ, we alternate weeks of gi and no-gi. Please contact the reception desk or email jeff@1801.life for more information.
No. Many of our students are world class competitors but just as many train just for fun, fitness, and self defense.
BJJ classes are going to teach you the fundamentals of our art which is great for self defense. We don’t specifically teach defense classes as learning the art of BJJ in a more complete form if going to teach self defense as well as all the other aspects of BJJ.
